The Coal City High Band has been very busy this fall. Besides playing at CCHS’s home Football games, the band has competed in two parades. At Dwight, the band finished first in their class for the second year in a row and also won trophies for best Drum Majors and Drumline. At the Grundy County Cornfest, they finished third behind Lena-Winslow and Morris. Upcoming performances include the Coal City Octoberfest and home games on October 2nd, 16th and 23rd. At the October 16th game, the band’s Seniors will be honored.
