Cornfest

Great job on Sunday! We’ll keep working this week to fix the things we need to correct for Morris. Below are the volunteers and schedule for Sunday. Thank you to Mrs. Landers, Mrs. Riebe, Mrs. Druse, Mr and Mrs. Watters, Mr. Talty, Mr. Horn and Mr. Ancilus for your help on Sunday. We couldn’t do it with out you!

Here is what I need for Sunday

A driver for the truck and trailer. Let me know asap on this one!

2 parents to ride over on the bus and back.

4 or 5 Parents to help with water and pull the wagon.

Here is the schedule:

Thursday and Friday the High School will load the trailer with the drumline and large instruments. Flutes, Clarinets, Trumpets of both the HS and MS bands will keep them with themselves on the bus.
Students of both schools will get dressed at their schools before the trip over. Each student will have their empty garment bag on the bus and leave it there until after the parade.

Sunday at noon the trailer (with the HS equipment) will taken over to the Middle School. Mr. Chesi and band parents/ students load the trailer with the empty uniform racks, larger instruments and drumline. The trailer will then leave and come to the High School band.

High School band members will start arriving at 11:45. At 12:45 we will board our buses and head to Morris. We are number 79 and will find our location, get of the bus and wait for the trailer.

Middle School busses will leave at 2:00 to head to Morris. The Middle School is number 113. They will arrive, unload and the trailer will come to their location and drop off their equipment.

The trailer and busses will be waiting for us at the Morris High School, which is a block away from the end of the parade route.
The high school will finish first. They will hang up their uniforms, load drumline and depart back to CCHS. When the Middle School finishes they will hang up their uniforms, load their equipment and return to the Middle School. The trailer will follow them back. The middle School will unload on Sunday after the parade at the school. The trailer and truck will then come back to High School to drop of the keys and park. The High School will unload on Monday during band.
