Drumline will not meet on Thursday. We will meet on Friday 9-12. The drums won't be there until Friday morning.
Color Guard will meet with myself and Nicole Thursday and Friday 9-12. Please bring any flags you have at home.
Please feel free to text or pass this along to any members of those groups. Thanks
Also, I've been working in the HS. You will be amazed at all the work done through out the building. The band and choir rooms are really coming together.

Band Camp info
Marching Coalers,
I hope you all are having a great summer! I know my family and I have. The girls have been swimming, taking piano lessons and riding their bikes. It has been great to spend so much time with them. Well, if you have driven by the High School, you have seen the big changes that are in store for us as we return for 2010-2011. With those changes, we will have to make some adjustments for band camp. All the dates are the same; we are just going to change the location. The Elementary School has been gracious to welcome us over again for camp. We will have places to practice indoors and our own practice field.
When you come to band camp, you will need to make sure you are prepared. Things you will need are: your instrument, any supplies (reeds, oil, sticks…), comfortable shoes and socks (no sandals or flip flops) suntan lotion, water bottle and appropriate clothing. Here is our schedule:
All these Practices have been moved to the Elementary School:
July 29 and 30 9:00 to 12:00 Band Camp Flags and Drumline only
August 2 9:00 to 12:00 Band Camp Freshmen and Section Leaders only
August 3, 4, 5 and 6th 9:00 to 12:00 Band Camp Everyone
Lunch will be provided on the 6th by the Music Boosters
Our performance schedule:
August 27 Home Football Game
September 10 Home Football Game Homecoming
September 19 Dwight Harvest Days
September 26 Gundy County Corn Festival
October 1 Home Football Game Band Senior Night
October 2 Octoberfest
October 22 Home Football Game
I am looking forward to seeing you all and working hard on our Tommy show. Nicole has been working on the flag routines since June also. It will be a great year as we build on the success we had last year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks!
